Attendance
A Student must attend at least 75% of the classes held in Part -1 and at least 75% of the classes held in Part - II during the course of the study to be eligible for appearing at the University Examination as a Collegiate student (as per Supreme Court Order).
Registration
After admission every student is to get oneself registered with the University North Bengal. Admission of student migrating from an Academic Board other than West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, remains provisional and as such is liable to be cancelled if the Migration Certificate and other necessary documents are not submitted in due time.
Identity Card
Students are to collect their identity cards from the college office. They are to keep their identity card with themselves during college hours. They may be asked to produce their identity cards if and when necessary. The identity card will serve as an admit card during college examination.
Enrolment of Casual Student
Students failing in the Degree Examination are to enrol themselves as casual students on payment of necessary fees.
Class Timings
Classes begin at 10 am and end at 4 pm on all working days.
Examination System
Internal assessment for all the classes are generally held every three months, dates of which are to be specified by the concerned department.
Students should note that for college exams (except Hindi, Nepali, Elective Hindi & Elective Nepali language papers) answers must be written either in English or Bengali. Answer scripts written in any other language will not be considered for evaluation. Answer for University Examination in Nepali is also permissible. Identity Card must be with the student when they enter into the College Campus.

- Full Free and half-free studentship are awarded to meritorious and needy students on the basis of their results in the last final exams.
- The College has fully equipped Physics, Chemistry and Geography laboratories for students of Science and Arts stream.
- A photo-copying machine is installed in the ground floor of the college building and students can avail its service at a nominal charge.
- The College canteen provides hygenic food at affordable rates.
- There is a College Union for students which is intended to foster corporate life in the college and to arrange debates, seminars and social functions, cultural meets and similar extra-academic activities.
- Provision for captive power (2 4-hour backup).
- Imparting lectures through audio-visual system.
- The College has an Admission Counter of Distance Education Wing of North Bengal University in its Campus.
- The College also has an outlet of Axis Bank to extend banking facilities to the students.
